Sea and beaches to discover

Punta bianca and Punta Corvo

From Bocca di Magra it’s possible to reach two enchanting beaches, the first one, Punta bianca, right on the most extreme edge south of the Caprione promontory, can be reached on foot through a CAI marked path. Punta Corvo instead, a wonderful pebble beach, can be reached from the village of Montemarcello through a steep path counting about 700 steps in the middle of the vegetation of the Mediterranean scrub.

Punta Pineda

Punta Pineda, located right before the village of Riomaggiore in the Cinque Terre, is a natural swimming pool surrounded by rocks on the sea level that can be reached from Tramonti via a difficult path with many steps.

Monesteroli

Shortly before Punta Pineda, on the stretch of coast between Riomaggiore and Portovenere, there is the locality of Monesteroli, a small agglomeration of houses overlooking the sea which can be reached from the hamlet of Campiglia through an incredible exposed staircase, or from Riomaggiore through a much longer path.
